Abstract

An entertainment system for a vehicle is disclosed. In one embodiment, the entertainment system includes an at least partially enclosed structure configured to receive an on-road vehicle, where the structure defines a path along which the on-road vehicle is configured to move autonomously; a content output system configured to generate content based on one or more characteristics of the on-road vehicle; and a guide system configured to guide the on-road vehicle along the path.

Background

FIELD (1) The present application relates to entertainment systems providing entertainment experiences to occupants of on-road vehicles. BACKGROUND (2) Traditional amusement rides and entertainment systems may utilize custom created ride vehicles, which are often expensive and limit the location of such systems. Meanwhile, on-road vehicles continue to include more sophisticated control systems which may be used to provide content, such as movies, music, and the like, to occupants of the vehicle. Further, consumers increasingly spend time in cars receiving goods or services, such as curbside pickup, drive through services (e.g., restaurants and banking), car rental centers, and the like. This time is usually wasted by consumers. BRIEF SUMMARY (3) An entertainment system for a vehicle is disclosed. In one embodiment, the entertainment system includes an at least partially enclosed structure configured to receive an on-road vehicle, where the structure defines a path along which the on-road vehicle is configured to move autonomously; a content output system configured to generate content based on one or more characteristics of the on-road vehicle; and a guide system configured to guide the on-road vehicle along the path. Claims

1. An entertainment system for a vehicle comprising: an at least partially enclosed structure configured to receive an on-road vehicle, wherein the structure defines a path along which the on-road vehicle is configured to move autonomously; one or more sensors configured to detect one or more characteristics of the on-road vehicle; a content output system configured to generate content based on one or more characteristics of the on-road vehicle and to generate guidance information for the on-road vehicle, wherein the guidance information is configured to synchronize movement of the on-road vehicle with the generated content as the generated content is displayed to one or more occupants of the on-road vehicle; and a guide system configured to generate control instructions based on the guidance information, wherein the control instructions guide the on-road vehicle along the path. || 17. A method comprising: detecting an on-road vehicle at an entertainment system, wherein the entertainment system includes an at least partially enclosed structure configured to receive the on-road vehicle, wherein the structure defines a path along which the on-road vehicle is configured to move autonomously; detecting one or more characteristics of the on-road vehicle; generating content based on the one or more characteristics of the on-road vehicle; generating guidance information for the on-road vehicle, wherein the guidance information is configured to synchronize movement of the on-road vehicle with the generated content as the generated content is displayed to one or more occupants of the on-road vehicle; guiding the on-road vehicle along the path using control instructions generated based on the guidance information; and displaying the generated content as the on-road vehicle moves along the path.
