Abstract

There is provided a system for delivery of personalized audio including a memory and a processor configures to receive a plurality of audio contents, receive a first playback request from a first user device for playing a first audio content of the plurality of audiocontents using the plurality of speakers, obtain a first position of a first user of the first user device with respect to each of the plurality of speakers, and play, using the plurality of speakers and object-based audio, the first audio content of the plurality of audio contents based on the first position of the first user of the first user device with respect to each of the plurality of speakers.

Claims

1. A system comprising: a plurality of speakers; and a media device including: a memory configured to store an audio application; a processor configured to execute the audio application to: receive a plurality of audio contents; receive a first playback request from a first user device for playing a first audio content of the plurality of audio contents using the plurality of speakers; obtain, in response to the first playback request, a first position of a first user of the first user device with respect to each of the plurality of speakers; and play, using the plurality of speakers, the first audio content of the plurality of audio contents based on thefirst position of the first user of the first user device with respect to each of the plurality of speakers. 11. A method for use with a system including a plurality of speakers, a memory, and a processor, the method comprising: receiving, using the processor, a plurality of audio contents; receiving, using the processor, a first playback request from a first user device for playing a first audio content of the plurality of audio contents using the plurality of speakers; obtaining, using the processor and in response to the playback request, a position of a user of the user device with respect to each of the plurality of speakers; and playing, using the plurality of speakers, the first audio content of the plurality of audio contents based on the first position of the first user with respect to each of the plurality of speakers.
